Since I decided to only use natural and organic skin care products, I have been testing and trying out new products. This time, I want to show you the latest brand that I discovered: ‘Evolve Beauty’.
The skin care products of Evolve Beauty are handmade at their own studio in Hertfordshire, England. They produce only in small batches to ensure the freshness of the antioxidants in the natural oils, butter, and extracts. All the products are vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly. From their products, I was gifted the lip treat, rainforest rescue blemish serum, true balance lotion, and the African orange aromatic lotion.
Lip Treat
This lip balm is made from organic shea and cocoa butter. It is fragranced with essential oil of orange. The balm feels soft to the touch, has a light yellow color and the smell is very light. As soon as I put on some lip balm on my lips, I feel that my lips are been hydrated. Especially when my lips are very dry. The balm feels soft and it doesn’t have any taste. Besides my lips, I use the balm to nourish my nails.
Good to know: Orange Essential Oil is shown to promote the production of collagen as well as increase the blood flow to the skin. The sparkling effervescent aroma of Blood Oranges quenches the nerves, relaxes the spirit and evokes cheer.
Rainforest Rescue Blemish Serum
This serum is made from Acai and Copaiba and willow bark (a natural source of salicylic acid). The serum is light in texture and has a delicate smell. I use it every morning before my usual moisturizer and at nights after I wash my face. Since I got my period after my pregnancy, my skin on my face has been blemish-prone. When I started using the rainforest serum I noticed a visible improvement in my skin.
Good to know: Amazonian blend of Acai and Copaiba is proven to decrease sebum production and reduce the appearance of blemishes and open pores, leaving the skin clear, calm and matte.
True Balance Lotion
This lotion is made from ginger, moringa, avocado extract, and hyaluronic acid. The lotion is great for combination skin. I use it every morning and feel my skin hydrated the whole day. The smell is soft and the color is light yellow.
Good to know: African Moringa peptides protect skin cells from pollution and purify the skin.
African Orange Aromatic Lotion
This lotion is made from organic shea butter and aloe vera. It is fragranced with blood orange, vanilla, and cedarwood. The lotion is silky and very moisturizing. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated for a long time. The smell is amazing. A combination of spicy and citrus. The lotion is one of my favorite products of Evolve Beauty.
Good to know: Cedarwood Essential Oil has an earthy aroma that is soothing and grounding. It was used by the Sumerians, Egyptians, and Tibetans
